I am an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

The BACP Ethical Framework promotes good practice, professional accountability, and places the wellbeing of clients at the centre of counselling practice. ‍

Qualifications ‍

ABC Level 4 Diploma in the theory and practice of counselling

I am committed to continuing professional development and regularly undertake additional training to enhance my knowledge and skills.

Professional Experience

I have experience supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and personal difficulties, including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, bereavement, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and feelings of overwhelm.

Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked within commercial and professional environments and understand the pressures that can arise from demanding careers, workplace stress, organisational change, and balancing work with family and personal responsibilities ‍

Clinical Supervision

Regular clinical supervision is an essential part of safe and ethical counselling practice.

I attend regular supervision with an experienced clinical supervisor to ensure that I continue to work safely, ethically, and in the best interests of my clients.

Professional Insurance

I hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance appropriate for my counselling practice.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is fundamental to the counselling relationship.

Information shared during counselling sessions is treated with respect and kept confidential, subject to a small number of legal and ethical exceptions. These exceptions will be discussed during the assessment process and outlined within the counselling agreement.

I am committed to protecting your personal information and handling your data responsibly in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

Online and Telephone Counselling ‍

Counselling sessions are available via Zoom and telephone throughout the United Kingdom.

I take reasonable steps to ensure that online sessions are conducted using secure platforms and that client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
